The following types of plans are offered under Asia Takaful Healthcare:

Upon enrolment, the coverage will start immediately under accidental hospitalization and 15 days waiting period will be applicable under hospitalization due to illness for one year under these plans.
How to subscribe to Asia Takaful Healthcare?
TCS sales personnel will approach walk-in-Customers and counsel customers explaining the product coverage and benefits and all terms and conditions. Willing Customers will provide the necessary information to the sale personnel to fill out a digital form and pay the respective contribution amount at the payment counter. After payment is received, TCS will issue an official payment receipt to the customer. The customer will also receive a Welcome message via SMS from TCS which includes Confirmation of Enrolment and a link to e-policy terms and conditions.
How to unsubscribe from Asia Takaful Healthcare?
To unsubscribe from Asia Takaful Healthcare, simply inform the TCS sales personnel or email us at policy.admin@asiainsurance.com.pk from Monday to Saturday.

Who can avail Asia Takaful Healthcare?
Customers of TCS Financial Services Pakistan who are Pakistani nationals and aged a minimum of eighteen (18) years and under sixty-five (65) years can avail of Asia Takaful Healthcare upon payment of applicable Contributions. The registration under Asia Takaful Healthcare will expire when an insured person reaches the age of sixty-five (65) years. In case of availability of only a year of birth information, January 1 shall be considered the month and day of birth respectively.
What are the limits against various coverages?
Asia Takaful Healthcare offers generous limits as stated below:

*Maximum consecutive hospitalization is thirty (30) days. Maximum confinement in a year is sixty (60) days.
When will the cover start and what will be the term of the cover?
- The coverage will commence upon enrolment in one of the plans.
- For these plans, the term of the cover will be one (1) year starting from the enrolment date. Coverage under plans will renew for future periods provided Contribution is collected from the customers on applicable due dates or within the grace period allowed as long as the coverage is not terminated in accordance with relevant provisions stated herein.
How can I claim under Asia Takaful Healthcare?
Covered members of TCS customers will avail treatment from any of the service providers (Hospitals/clinics) and make an upfront payment to the service provider and claim reimbursement from Asia Insurance.
- Covered member of TCS Customers will send their Claim Documents by using any of the following sources:
- Email: ullah@asiainsurance.com.pk
- TCS Center: When TCS received claim documents, they will send them to Asia Insurance via their head office.
Please note that you or your family members must notify a claim within fifteen (15) days from the date of any event occurring or discharge from the hospital. Failure to do so can affect claim approval
What documents will be required to claim under Asia Takaful Healthcare?
The following documents must be provided within fifteen (15) days from the date of any event occurring or discharge from the hospital.
Reimbursement Claim:
- Original Discharge Certificate.
- Physician/Surgeon Certificate / Doctor’s Prescription (If needed).
- Hospital Record of Admission and Treatment.
- Duly signed Claim Form by the attending physician or surgeon (If needed).
- Hospital Record of Admission and Treatment.
- All receipts of treatment in case of treatment received in the hospital due to an accident.
- Medico-legal and police certificates in case of an accident, violence, or attempted suicide.
- Death Certificate issued from NADRA in case of a member died during treatment or to claim Funeral Expenses along with the CNIC No. of legal hair/Nominee.
All documents can be submitted in scanned form. However, the Asia insurance company reserves the right to ask for original documents as and when required.
A claim under funeral expense benefit:
The claim will be paid to your family member who submits an heirship certificate issued by an authorized government body. However, if you designated a beneficiary after registration into the product, through verbal instructions at customer services touch points mentioned here, the claim will be payable to the beneficiary so designated by you.
Other Claims:
The claim will be paid to the insured person. However, if the state of health of the insured person is such that he cannot give a valid discharge of claim settlement to the insurance company, additional documents such as an heirship certificate may be asked for.
In what circumstances will my claim not be paid?
The claim will not be paid in the event of the following:
- Any pre-existing conditions.
- Pregnancy, Childbirth, abortion, and any complication thereof.
- Any type of Dental and OPD treatment.
- Suicide, assault, murder, self-destruction, or self-inflicted injury, while sane or insane, or any attempt thereat; under the influence of contraband drugs/drinks
- Natural catastrophes, war, declared or undeclared, or any act of war or insurrection, or as a result of a strike, riot, and civil commotion.
- The commission or attempted commission of an act that would subject the person to civil or criminal penalties, or the contravention of any law
- Filing of a fake claim or submission or forged or fake documents or inability to complete all requirements.
- In the event of non-payment of Contribution on the due date or within the allowed grace period
Under what conditions my subscription to Asia Takaful Healthcare will be terminated?
- Cessation of Asia Takaful Healthcare by any reason whatsoever. The insured person may cancel his insurance for a full refund of the annual Contribution paid within fourteen (14) days of the enrolment date by notifying the group policyholder or the Asia insurance for cancellation, in written or by telephone, and provided that no claim has been filed under this policy.
- No Contribution refund shall be allowed in the event of any claims being filed under this policy irrespective of whether the claim is paid or rejected by the insurance company.
- Insured person’s failure to pay Contribution on the due date or within the grace period of thirty (30) days of the due date. Coverage will continue during the said grace period of thirty (30) days and any unpaid Contributions will be collected from claim proceeds. The coverage will lapse if the Contribution remains unpaid within the grace period.
- The insured person’s death
- Upon payment of any claim up to the maximum annual limit
- Your decision not to continue with the product and communication of that to us using the customer service touchpoints
- Filing of fake claims or submission of forged documents
- The insured person attains the maximum age allowed under this product
Terms & Conditions
- – The period of Takaful is for One Year
- – Customers of TCS who are Pakistani nationals and aged a minimum of eighteen (18) years and under sixty-five years (65) can avail of Asia Takaful Healthcare upon payment of applicable Contributions
- – Customers must pay a Contribution in advance to avail of Asia Takaful Healthcare.
- – 15 days waiting period will be applied from the commencement date of coverage for hospitalization due to illness
- – 30 days waiting period will be applicable between consecutive hospitalizations due to the same ailment
- – In case of hospitalization due to an accident, the amount will be paid up to a maximum annual limit as per the – respective plan and per-day compensation will also be paid as per the plan.
- – Treatment in a clinic in case of an accident is payable as per the respective plan and subject to the availability of an annual limit. However, the daily hospitalization benefit will not be paid.
- – FREE-LOOK PERIOD is 14 days from the date of Enrolment/Contribution paid. The contribution will be refunded if no claim has been submitted/availed during the FREE-LOOK PERIOD.
- – The insurance benefit offered under the product will be governed by the terms and conditions contained in the group policy issued by Asia Insurance Company Limited. The insurance cover provided in the products is underwritten by Asia Insurance Company Limited which will be responsible for payment of valid claims under the insurance benefit after receipt of the required claim documents.
- – TCS is only facilitating the offer and should not be construed as distributing these products and is not responsible for any benefits promised therein.
- – All Contributions and any benefits payable under the products will be in Pakistani rupees.
- – By enrolment in products, a customer authorizes TCS to share his details available with TCS to Asia Insurance.
- – The terms of the product including Contribution can be amended or the product can be withdrawn by the supplier parties at any time and in such an event customers shall be informed through an SMS or any other manner as agreed between the parties.
- – Territorial Limit-Coverage is allowed only within the boundaries of Pakistan
